Kwataniza Women Farmers Group KWG in partnership with the American Jewish World Services (AJWS) is implementing a two years project aimed at mitigating the social-economic impacts of Covid 19. The project activities are majorly targeting the rural women of the Buseruka sub-county in the Hoima district. On April 23, 2021, KWG conducted training in livestock management. At least 60 beneficiaries among which are men and 48 are women as the majority participated in the training. The goal of the training was to improve the income status of the target groups, improve food production and nutrition status, and increase sustainable food production. Under this project, there is the promotion of livestock, beekeeping to promote the conservation of nature and increasing food production and household incomes.
